Or­ga­ni­zers

The 36th Ca­re­ta­kers of the Envi­ron­ment In­ter­na­tio­nal Con­fe­ren­ce was a hy­brid model con­fe­ren­ce co-ho­sted by Ge­rar­do de Vega (MTVF) and Geo­r­gi­na Gril­lo (GVS), with as­si­stan­ce from GVS stu­dents Da­nie­la Gutiérrez and Max Meoño who led a team of vo­lun­te­ers from July 4th - July 8th 2022.
The theme for the con­fe­ren­ce:

- Water pol­lu­tion, drin­king water & sa­ni­ta­tion
- Water, Eco­to­urism and hy­dro­elec­tric ener­gy pro­duc­tion
- Wa­ter-ba­sed na­tu­ral di­sa­sters, cli­ma­te ad­ap­ta­tion, and mi­ti­ga­tion

This con­fe­ren­ce was jo­in­tly run by Fun­da­ción Madre Tier­ra Verde, Gol­den Val­ley Scho­ol and CEI Costa Rica.
