The canyon of Ein-Avdat was declared in 1990 as National Park, and visitor facilities were installed. Parking grounds, information services, running water, signboards and hiking trails were laid for the visitors who overflow the narrow canyon beyond its capacity, especially in holidays. The park is operated and managed by Authority for National Gardens and Nature Reserves.
